The day before his birthday, Nino opens the closet and finds a huge present. In spite of his curiosity, he can't figure out what it is. When Nino opens the present the next morning, it seems boring at first, but he slowly discovers all of the surprises it holds within.

As Osito polar begins, the little polar bear returns home after a long day. He plays with his favorite toy, eats a nice dinner, takes a bubble bath, puts on his pajamas, brushes his teeth, and jumps into bed hoping for sweet dreams. The furry white texture on this cloth book is like that of the book's hero, while the appealing illustrations and very simple text tell a story of a polar bear cub who does all the things that little boys and girls do every day.

Does good luck exist? Or is it all a matter of probability? Isabel and Nicols are neighbors and they sometimes walk to school together. One morning, Isabel wears her grandmother's bracelet which, according to her, brings good luck. The precious object gets lost, and then begins a tour around the most diverse and endearing people in the neighborhood. Everyone's lives change as they have their "stroke of luck." The dynamic prose, the abundant dialogue, and the descriptions of the characters round out a novel that, with its multiple storylines, captures readers with its plot.
