A professional hunter returns to Johannesburg from a safari in Tanzania, to find that his wife has started a relationship with another man. She wants a divorce. Still reeling under the impact, he receives a phone call from his brother, a missionary pilot in Colombia, whose daughter was abducted by FARC guerillas. He catches a flight to South America the next morning.The two brothers track the kidnappers down to a remote jungle camp, where a Canadian medical doctor, kidnapped a month earlier, is also held captive. In the events that follow, both pilot and hunter are confronted by life-challenging decisions. Glimpses of life in a Marxist guerilla camp also reveal the harsh consequences of human errors, wrong choices and the lust for power.
