En 1908 se sucedieron tres acontecimientos destacados en México. El primero, de orden contextual, fue la entrevista Díaz-Creelman. El segundo consistió en la expedición del primer Reglamento de Cinematógrafos para el Distrito Federal. Y el tercero se cifró en la fundación de la Unión Cinematográfica, S.A. La exposición propone un repaso sobre la obra del artista a través de una veintena de fotografías y seis video-instalaciones. El proyecto se completa con un estudio exhaustivo sobre toda la obra videográfica y cinematográfica de la artista.

La Mirada (the gaze) presents nine outside their country almost unknown Latin American artist-photographers. The works of the last 20 years range from straight photography to the staged image. This title describes not only gaze of the camera directed towards a specific subject, but also the artistic attitude and mental approach of the nine artists and their diverse views on photography.
