_____________________________________________ Mansilla + Tuñón, ganadores del Premio Mies van der Rohe de Arquitectura Europea 2007 por el Museo de arte contemporáneo de Castilla y León (MUSAC). _____________________________________________ En 1993, Luis Moreno Mansilla, Luis Rojo y Emilio Tuñón fundan la cooperativa de pensamiento Circo y, desde entonces, editan una publicación mensual bajo el mismo nombre. Circo constituye una plataforma de pensamiento en torno a la arquitectura, una pista de circo a la que se invita a participar. Con doce años de andadura, Circo lleva ya más de 120 números publicados. Cada cuadernillo incluye un único texto y, de entre los publicados hasta la actualidad, se han extraído y recopilado aquí aquellos que fueron escritos por sus fundadores, ya sea en solitario, en dúo o en trío. Luis Moreno Mansilla (1959) y Emilio Tuñón (1958) son arquitectos por la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, escuela de la que son profesores. Tras un período de colaboración en el despacho de Rafael Moneo (1982-1992) fundan en Madrid su propio despacho de arquitectura. En 1998 crean junto a Luis Díaz-Mauriño 'El quinto piso', playground dedicado a la investigación de la capacidad expresiva de los sistemas. Luis Rojo (1962) es arquitecto por la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid y máster en arquitectura en la Graduate School of Design de Harvard, escuelas en las que ha sido profesor desde 1992 y 1995 respectivamente. Tiene abierto su despacho profesional en Madrid.
