La historiografía oficial ha dedicado escaso eco a las personas que ostentaron la titularidad de la dinastía carlista, la otra dinastía, desde su emerger en 1833 hasta nuestros días. Estos ocho monarcas se enfrentaron al poder constituido de turno, unas veces con las armas en la mano y otras con la comparecencia electoral.
