La fotografía en España en el periodo de entreguerras

The expansive diversity of Colombia and the beauty of its 51 natural parks are vividly presented in this collection of more than 700 photographs. From the Vía Parque Isla de Salamanca to the Old Providence McBean Lagoon, images of each park's landscape are accompanied by informative text, charts, and maps.

Graphic designer López Castro presents a collection of photographs of street paintings of the Virgin of Guadalupe, a methodological documentation project of a distinctive Mexican folkart he started in 2002 and that culminated in the present book that includes the prologue of anthropologist Roger Bartra. Of the book the author states -"The Guadalupana is the virgin of the poor. That is why in this book I try to make it evident how each Mexican paints her as best as they can, as they need her or with the only purpose of having her present during their daily street walking."

Pocos años después del desarrollo y popularización del cine, surgieron dos grandes tendencias que con el tiempo crearon la falsa dicotomía entre el documental y la ficción. Sin poder escapar de la naturaleza de la imagen fotografía, la imagen en movimiento dio lugar, de forma natural, a la creación de formas narrativas ficcionales que se elaboraban a través de representaciones objetivas de la realidad. Si bien de una manera reductiva, se percibían en el cine dos esferas opuestas que se plasmaban bien a través un documento objetivo, bien por una narración fruto de la imaginación....
