Esta obra premiada en 2014, El año del gato, del autor chileno Roberto Sanhueza, sigue la línea y el estilo de su anterior novela premiada (Roberto es lo que en las universidades se llama un "repetidor"...), un verdadero thriller futurista. En esta ocasión, se trata de una novela también muy bien escrita, interesante y con un mundo propio que casi es característico del autor.
