Sinopsis del Libro

La Revolución Cubana, como todo proceso histórico complejo, ha tenido consecuencias de la más variada índole. Con la instalación de la dictadura castrista, el exilio forzado de muchos y el aislamiento interior de aquellos disidentes que permanecieron en la isla ha dado fruto a una tradición literaria de notable valor. Este libro reúne obras de más de doscientos autores cubanos quienes, durante las tres últimas décadas han cultivado el oficio literario desafiando las burdas y brutales imposiciones que Castro ha impuesto de la manera más vergonzosa y reprochable a sus compatriotas. Aquí hay cuentos de autores consagrados antes de 1959; también hay obras de quienes se iniciaron en la literatura poco antes de la usurpación castrista; ciertamente hay muestras de los creadores en el exilio y también de la generación que nació en el exilio.
