This series is the best reference available for information on today's leading architects, and presents their work in an affordable and thoroughly illustrated format. Each book begins with an overview of the architect's style and accomplishments written by a leading architecture critic. Then, approximately twenty noteworthy works and projects are discussed by the architect and presented in detail with site plans, drawings, and black-and-white photographs.

Text (in Spanish) and images complement each other to create a narrative thread that offers informative insights into the architect's intellectual and visual imagination and expands our understanding of Olgiati's oeuvre.

El objeto de la presente publicación responde al deseo de evaluar el edificio primigenio del actual Museo del Prado, es decir, el construido por Juan de Villanueva entre 1785 y 1808; un edificio que se proyectaba junto al recién creado Jardín Botánico para albergar su Laboratorio Químico y, finalmente, para acoger así mismo la Academia de Ciencias y el Gabinete de Historia Natural.
