The Design of the home continues to be of great interest to both architects and designers. How to configure a living space according to the characteristics of a site and the specification of the client is still the starting point of any house project. However, the final solutions can be as diverse as they can be interesting. This publication takes a specific look at the way architecture will evolve when regarding inhabitations around the world due to climatic changes and different cultural expectations.

This series was the winner of the American Institute of Architects' prestigious "Award for Excellence in International Book Publishing". Each volume in this series is introduced with an essay on the architect, and a chronological or stylistic presentation of their most outstanding buildings and projects. Las recientes obras de rehabilitación y adaptación a usos varios acometidas por la Universidad de Sevilla en el que fuera Pabellón de Brasil de la Exposición Iberoamericana de Sevilla de 1929, han permitido recuperar para la ciudad un edificio de fuerte personalidad que se encontraba en un lamentable estado de abandono como consecuencia del paso del tiempo y las diversas funciones a que ha sido destinado.
