Sinopsis del Libro

Llevó a la práctica la resolución de la CG II de convocar las Congregaciones de Procuradores. Bajo su administración la obra misionera se incrementó y fue próspera. Sugirió a Pío V la creación de la Congregación para la Propagación de la Fe. Organizador infatigable, fundó el primer colegio y la primera universidad jesuita en Europa. Redactó varios tratados de vida espiritual. Beatificado en 1624 y canonizado en 1671 es uno de los primeros grandes apóstoles de la Compañía de Jesús.
