Caín, ¿dónde está tu hermana?

Sinopsis del Libro

"Y Dios dijo: 'Caín ¿dónde está tu hermano Abel?'" (Gn 4,9). El mal culpable, cometido desde el libre albedrío, había sido hasta este momento un asunto solo entre la persona y Dios; a partir de ahora afectará al "hermano", al mundo. La pregunta de Dios al fratricida Caín es fuertemente simbólica, porque injerta en la historia humana la cuestión de la responsabilidad ética, y de este modo convierte un suceso de violencia circunstancial entre un agresor y una víctima en violencia social y estructural. Ante ella tenemos que "responder" todas y todos, desde la teoría y desde la praxis, si no queremos dimitir de nuestra humanidad. La reflexión sobre la violencia contra las mujeres se enmarca dentro de este "grito" de Dios y se manifiesta como denuncia contra todas y cada una de las dimensiones y las estructuras de nuestra sociedad: tradición cultural, filosofía, jurisprudencia, religión, antropología... Denuncia que es teoría y praxis, análisis y experiencia, dolor y esperanza. "Caín, ¿dónde está tu hermana?"
