Sinopsis del Libro

This timeless tale (now available in Spanish) tells children the story of the crucifixion from the viewpoint of Rex, the tree that became the cross Jesus carried to Calvary. Proud and ungrateful at first, Rex learns a lesson in love from the humble and gentle Jesus. With this story, children come to understand the importance of Jesus' sacrifice and the power of his love. El arbol orgulloso se llamaba Rex y se portaba como si fuera el rey de todos los arboles del bosque. Hasta que un dia sucedio algo que cambio su vida y la de toda la creacion. Este relato imaginario sobre la crucifixion llega a nosotros a traves de los ojos de Rex, el arbol que se convirtio en la cruz en la que murio a Jesus. Orgulloso e ingrato al inicio, Rex aprende la leccion de humildad de Jesus, humilde y bondadoso--leccion que le revelo la importancia del sacrificio y el poder del amor.
