El mundo hispanohablante en textos / Reading the Spanish-Speaking World es un libro de texto para estudiantes de español de nivel intermedio y avanzado. The nineteen chapters, all including texts by contemporary authors, cover a range of themes of up-to-date interest. Users are encouraged to engage with these topical works through a selection of activities which will develop reading, writing and speaking skills together with a wider command of vocabulary and grammatical structures. Users will also learn about different styles and registers of writing and be able to respond to a variety of contemporary political, cultural and social issues, most of which are specific to the Spanish-speaking world.
