La revista Cuenco, luego Alcor, es probablemente una de las revistas culturales más importantes del Paraguay en la segunda mitad del siglo XX, tiempo sumamente conmocionado por diversos eventos sociales, tanto en el Paraguay como en el resto del Mundo. Publicada entre 1955 y 1969, fue la más internacional de todas las publicaciones periódicas del Paraguay. Fue fundada por el célebre escritor paraguayo Rubén Bareiro Saguier y el no menos importante actor cultural Julio César Troche.
