You can confront a stupid individual or a group of stupid people identified as such, but when the way people live and the way they are governed are possessed by stupidity, it seems impossible to reverse the situation. So how do we fight something that drags us down? You can fight fascism, communism, and many «isms» but can you fight stupidity when it is systemic and you yourself are part of the problem and justify totally absurd things? To try to answer these questions, the author ironizes about the misinterpreted welfare state and a single thought that surrounds us more and more.
