Sinopsis del Libro

Una historia real sobre la Revolución cubana contada por el más joven de los 82 expedicionarios del Granma. El Comandante Arsenio García Dávila, con veinte años de edad, se embarcó con 81 rebeldes para derrocar la dictadura militar. Las dificultades que atraviesan, sus triunfos y avances tienen cabida en esta nueva interpretación de la Revolución. Junto a personajes tan carismáticos como Fidel Castro, su hermano Raúl, el Che Guevara o Camilo Cienfuegos, Arsenio estuvo presente en cada uno de los episodios del histórico momento, desde los prolegómenos hasta el triunfo final en enero de 1959. La fuente oral en primera persona y la aportación de documentos inéditos, permite revivir y reconstruir los acontecimientos más significativos que dieron inicio a una de las gestas más rememoradas de la Historia contemporánea.
