Anthological edition with 10 texts produced from the 1970's to present by noted artist, academic, and critic Luis Camnitzer. The critical essays are centered in art although examined from different perspectives. The author reflects, criticizes and deconstructs the way we understand the artistic system, its power nets and the incidence of the commercial market. This study focuses on the formalization of a fundamental experience of human existence: the act of perception. Unlike most other linguistic research dealing with the "prototypical" verbs of visual and auditory perception, it concentrates on the complicated polysemy of the multimodal verb sentir. The findings provide important new insight into the linguistic expression of perception in general.
