NOTAS SOBRE DISEÑO INDUSTRIAL

Sinopsis del Libro

Estas reflexiones que fueron realizadas en momentos en los que parecía que debían hacerse, sin embargo han verificado su actualidad. Tal vez algunas cosas han cambiado, -como nosotros-, han evolucionado o se han aplacado, sin embargo, la mayoría de lo dicho sigue teniendo la validez que debe tener. En algunos casos se han dicho algunas en forma premonitoria. La articulación de estas reflexiones en cinco grandes paquetes, intentan poner en evidencia cómo hay temas que pueden ser enfocados desde distintos ángulos, demostrando así la amplitud que tiene el Diseño Industrial en tanto disciplina del hacer y del pensar. No hay un recetario para leer los objetos de diseño y aunque dicen que no hay una teoría del diseño; se espera que estas reflexiones ayuden a construir una o, por lo menos, den sustento a una disciplina que afecta en forma total a la sociedad. Hoy los gustos, los deseos, las necesidades, las voluntades, las ambiciones, las responsabilidades de cada uno y del conjunto de la sociedad se materializan con objetos de diseño. Es de desear que estas consideraciones iniciales se sumen a las planteadas por el libro.
