This book is a history of the kidnapping of Juan Manuel Fangio, Argentine quintuple champion of Fórmula 1. This world-famous event was perpetrated by a little group of July 26 Movement’s members in 1958, the day before the Big Prize of Cuba, due February 23. Also, the book presents publications in the Cuban and foreign press about this extraordinary event that gave to Fangio more fame that all his sportive successes. The kidnapping carried out the revel’s objective: to make the world know about their struggle for knock down the bloody dictatorship in Cuba. In the appendix appears the list of all the witnesses of this event, its chronology and a graphic testimony.
