Sinopsis del Libro

Este texto trata del desarrollo de fórmulas algebraicas que permiten localizar directamente las coordenadas de algunos puntos notables de un triángulo, como el incentro, el gravicentro, el ortocentro, el circuncentro, el punto de Nagel y el punto de Spieker, en función de la longitud de sus lados o de las coordenadas cartesianas de sus vértices. De igual manera, se refiere al desarrollo de las fórmulas algebraicas que permiten ubicar directamente las coordenadas de los puntos extremos de los escintores de un triángulo, a saber, mescintor (cleaver), vescintor (splitter) y escintriz (equalizer), en términos de la longitud de sus lados o de las coordenadas cartesianas de sus vértices. Este es un texto divulgativo, dirigido a docentes de Matemáticas, con el cual se procura una transición del simple trato sintético de los puntos y las rectas notables respecto de un triángulo, hacia su tratamiento analítico. Adicionalmente, pretende motivar la inclusión del tema de escintores como parte de la geometría escolar. In this text we develop algebraic formulas that allow us to directly find the coordinates of some notable points of a triangle, such as the incenter, barycenter, orthocenter, circumcenter, Nagel's point and Spieker's point, according to the length of their sides or the Cartesian coordinates of their vertices. It also refers to the development of algebraic formulas that allow to directly find the coordinates of the extreme points of triangle splitters, namely cleaver, splitter and equalizer, according to the length of their sides or the Cartesian coordinates of their vertices. Aimed at Mathematics teachers, this informative text seeks a transition from the simple synthetic treatment of remarkable points and lines, relative to a triangle, to its analytical treatment. Additionally, it intends to include the topic of splitters as part of school geometry.
