Se analizan las evidencias empíricas existentes en el Suroeste peninsular, resaltando las contradicciones que atañen a la explicación del registro arqueológico. La contratación de la hipótesis previa, a escala particular, ha puesto de relevancia una particular estructura en el poblamiento de la zona más occidental del territorio objeto de estudio, que puede ser un punto de partida útil a la hora de explicar el poblamiento de la Edad del Bronce a escala regional, como una alternativa a la investigación futura.
