XII Simposio Bíblico Teológico Sudamericano

Sinopsis del Libro

Este libro reúne veintiséis artículos bajo el tema central de la justificación por la fe. Son el producto final de ponencias presentadas en el XII Simposio Bíblico-Teológico Sudamericano en la Universidad Adventista del Plata, Libertador San Martín, Entre Ríos, Argentina, que fue llevado a cabo entre los días 27 de abril y 1 de mayo de 2017. La obra tiene artículos en tres idiomas: espãnol, portugués e inglés, lo que la caracteriza como internacional. De los veintiséis artículos, veinte son sistemático-históricos, tres son bíblicos y tres son del área aplicada. Por otro lado, dieciséis artículos tratan específicamente del Libro de Romanos y diez abordan temas relacionados con Romanos o la justificación por la fe. Los artículos que tratan específicamente del Libro de Romanos hacen foco en estos temas: bautismo, homosexualidad, misión de la Iglesia, la persona de Rufo, adoración, el sentido de καρπός, amor, exégesis de los capítulos 4 y 5, justificación por la fe, Romanos en los escritos de Agustín, formas textuales de Romanos, creación, uso de Habacuc en Romanos, relaciones sexuales del mismo sexo, contexto misionológico de Romanos 1,26-27, ecoteología en Romanos 8,19-23. Los demás artículos abordan estos temas: obediencia a la autoridad secular según Lutero, implicaciones eclesiales y sociopolíticas, teología paulina de los dos Adanes, Cristo como la finalidad de la ley, hermenéutica, proclamación del evangelio, justificación por la fe y perfeccionismo.
