50 años de revolución en Cuba

En el volumen 9 (enero-marzo de 1938) de esta edición del archivo del cardenal Isidro Gomá y Tomás se recogen las últimas respuestas de la jerarquía católica a la Carta Colectiva, con la que en estos meses de 1938 se elaborará el libro titulado El mundo católico y la Carta Colectiva del Episcopado español. En la misma línea de propaganda dirigida a los ambientes católicos, se prepara el viaje de Gomá al Congreso Eucarístico de Budapest. Al mismo tiempo se intensifican los intentos para influir en la construcción del nuevo régimen, y se empiezan a manifestar conflictos.
