La primera edición de "Mi viaje a América" fue realizada por la Librería General de Victoriano Suárez en 1911, en Madrid. En la presente se incluye, la reproducción de la portada, portadilla y dedicatoria de aquella primera edición. El resto constituye una transcripción literal de la misma que respeta la grafía original, si bien se ha corregido las erratas advertidas en la fe de erratas de la primera edición.
