Carlos Fuentes reveals in this novel the thoughts of an elderly man who can no longer fend for himself; the man is confronted with an imminent and torturous death, but his will does not allow him to be defeated.

Exhibition of the mural and the art surrounding Diego Rivera's famous mural " Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda Central". Completed in 1947, the mural depicts scenes and people from the Spanish Conquest to the middle of the 20th century.
