Sinopsis del Libro

Rafael y Manuel García Hispaleto reúnen a través de su biografía y de su obra todos los ingredientes que configuran la España artística desde la época Isabelina hasta la Restauración borbónica y la pintura desde el romanticismo hasta las nuevas corrientes de finales de siglo. Se trata de dos pintures cuyo eclecticismo, producto de una formación artística entre Sevilla y Madrid, entre París y Roma, entre la tradición y la modernidad, dió forma a una abundante y variada producción.

This book offers an in-depth analysis of the pretérito perfecto compuesto, one of the Spanish verb forms displaying the greatest variation in use. The study discusses its temporal, aspectual and modal dimensions and argues that the perfect tense used in the Romance languages can be understood as a temporal category expressing both simultaneity and anteriority.
