Sinopsis del Libro

No es un libro técnico ni tóxico. Sólo pretende advertir a los ahorradores e inversores españoles de ciertas prácticas llevadas a cabo por algunos bancos y cajas de ahorros. Esas prácticas, basadas en su mayoría en la falta de transparencia, sólo pueden producir mucho riesgo y, sobre todo, muchas pérdidas, tal y como se ha puesto de manifiesto en estos años de crisis financiera. El autor trata de conseguir este objetivo con el relato de su experiencia personal (él también fue timado por Madoff ) y la aportación de decenas de anécdotas acumuladas en sus más de treinta años como periodista especializado en el mundo económico y financiero. Y lo hace también con detalles de humor que se van dejando caer a lo largo de la obra. En un afán también práctico, el libro concluye con un amplio decálogo que subraya la conducta que debe mantener un ahorrador o inversor para evitar ser esquilmado en el futuro por este tipo de prácticas confusas y abusivas.
