José González Torres ha sido, desde su juventud hasta la edad madura, un jefe nato, un lider natural de las personas y grupos de las instituciones y masas en que anidan las más nobles causas cristianas y mexicanas. Ha sido Presidente Nacional de la A.C.J.M., de la Asociación Internacional Pax Romana, del Partido Acción Nacional, que posteriormente lo póstulo como Candidadto a la Presidencia de la República, de la Asociación de Ex Alumnos Salesianos y actualmente Diputado del PAN ante la LII Legislatura.

Exhibition of the mural and the art surrounding Diego Rivera's famous mural " Sueño de una tarde dominical en la Alameda Central". Completed in 1947, the mural depicts scenes and people from the Spanish Conquest to the middle of the 20th century. The exhibition is based on the documentary collection of the great collector Ricardo Pérez Escamilla. The exhibition unites in order the documents and original publications that have iconographic roots in the mural. "Revisionist view of the traditional interpretation of 1923 revolt as a reaction against Obregón's imposition of Calles. Authors study four different regional revolts between 1923-24, all with different leaders and provoked by different causes: Rómulo Figueroa in Guerrero, Enrique Estrada in Jalisco, Guadalupe Sánchez in Veracruz, and Fortunato Maycotte in Oaxaca. Rebels failed because of a lack of central control or unifying program.
