Esta obra es un estudio sobre la figura del juicio político, en ella se analizan tres casos en diferentes épocas de la historia de México: el primero durante la presidencia de Antonio López de Santa Anna; el segundo en la república restaurada, durante el mandato de Benito Juárez y el tercero durante la gestión de Álvaro Obregón, se estudian las coincidencias entre estos casos.
